Does balanced reporting need a balanced audience?

I’ve always enjoyed reading Andrea Vance’s reporting and opinions. I thought this one was right on the mark - how an alt right agenda is the driving force behind not only the protests in New Zealand, but Canada, France, Australia etc.

After I read it I realised that 99% of readers, like me, agree with Andrea’s line of thinking. The 1% will only read it so they can throw shit at her on social media.

I’m not sure how it’s going to be possible to bridge difference about this, and any future issues, if we inhabit discreet New Zealands.
