How to make money as a barker.

Social media, mainstream media as well, are making money through an old fashioned concept - speaker’s corner.

Get someone, preferably with a loud voice, to start preaching and the money starts rolling in whether they’re left-wing, right-wing, Christian, communist, black, white . . . It really doesn’t matter, the important point is that they something contentious or just sound off like an idiot.

It’s rather clever as you don’t have to pay the speakers and people drag their soap box around with them in their pocket.

The clue on mainstream media is the word at the bottom of the image - opinion.
